Peninsula Fresh Organics began in 2009, when Wayne and Tash started growing certified organic vegetables on a small 3-acre farm in Baxter, located on Victoria’s beautiful Mornington Peninsula. They began selling their fresh produce at accredited Farmers Markets across Melbourne, quickly building a loyal following.

As demand grew for their premium, certified organic vegetables, so did their farm. Wayne and Tash expanded their operations to a 100-acre property in Barham, NSW, along the Murray River. Today, they grow on 250 acres in Barham and have also expanded their original Baxter location to cover 60 acres over two properties. Most recently, they’ve acquired a new farm in Moorooduc, which is set to begin development in the coming months.

Peninsula Fresh Organics now cultivates around 20 varieties of vegetables, including radish, Asian greens, leeks, rainbow chard, lettuce varieties, broccoli, cauliflower, and more — with many lines grown year-round. All produce is certified organic by Australian Certified Organic (ACO), the nation’s leading organic certification body.

We’re also proudly affiliated with Peninsula Organic Farmgate, an organic-only independent store now located at 94 Baxter-Tooradin Road, Baxter Village. Drop by and fill a basket or trolley with the freshest certified organic produce — much of it grown right here on our farm. From leafy greens and herbs to leeks and brassicas, our shelves are packed with seasonal goodness.
